As a created being - the act of creation is honest, it is primal.
I am interested in spaces: inner and outer, micro and cosmic. There is a fingerprint that marks these spaces and reveals the creator’s hand. I am inescapably drawn to the patterns and the structures by which all things are formed.
I am also interested in moments. In capturing feeling through gesture, and the decisions that follow: to preserve or destroy it, highlight or hide it, maintain or alter it. The spaces and moments within each piece declare my presence within it.
As an artist, a creator, to say I am here... I am alive in this space.
